Geocaching at
O’Hara Mill
The O’Hara Mill Homestead offers a unique mix of history and high tech to those who have taken up geocaching or high-tech treasure hunting, as we like to call it. We encourage you to bring your GPS and enjoy a day of discovery at the Mill.
There are three caches, two traditional and one multi, located within the conservation area.
If the thrill of the hunt is what you’re seeking, you could easily spend a day or even an entire weekend geocaching and enjoying all that the Madoc area has to offer. There are plenty of things to see and do, places to eat and stay – see Trip Advisor for more information. Within a 20 kilometre radius of the O’Hara Mill Homestead there are over 50 geocaches, including one at another wonderful local heritage site, Ontario’s first Gold Mine.
Please note these Geocaches are not owned or maintained by O’Hara Mill. See GeoCaching.com for full details.
